i know gayle has already started a thread on the latest november 15th watchtower article that mentions the article on donations, but i thought a thread with a more specific title might be in order just to drive the point home for any lurkers.

i hope gayle doesn't mind!.

Just like Jonadab supported Jehu in his quest to promote true worship, the modern day parallel is the other sheep providing assistance to the slave class. We forget at times that the slave has been bestowed with the heavy responsibility of providing for his brothers and to a lesser extent the other sheep. The slave accomplishes this primarily by providing spiritual food at the proper time. At times however, practical assistance is necessary.

Theo Sed- the article is fine if they did any Charitable Works and if the WTS was not just a non-taxable religious front for a publishing and real estate empire.

They are not a charity. They do nothing for others in any community they live in. They look after their own interests. Period!

You're feelings on this matter are somewhat in the right place, and that's nothing for the slave to be ashamed of. They're not a charity organization as they acknowledge Christ's words that "the poor will always be with us" so long as this system of things is in existance. The same can be said about the sick, but their purpose is not to build hospitals, or shelters, or soup kitches. No, their primary focus is the spiritual support of Christ's annointed brothers still on earth as well as the other sheep. Considering they're the only organization on this planet feeding ones spiritually, it goes without saying the financial assistance is needed, and that's where you and I have the privilege of giving a hand.

I don't see anything wrong with articles like these. They're informative, providing ways for the Jonadab class to support the slave class as they incessantly look after Christ's interests on Earth. I for one, am thankful.

I never gave it much thought before but on the surface at least it seems that the UK has had better Rock bands than the US.

Some of my fav American bands as far as Rock goes anyway, Interpol, Queens of the Stone Age, TV On the Radio, Santana(1st three albums era), Alice Cooper, The Stooges, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, Circle Jerks, Misfits(Danzig era), Doors, Hendrix, Cro-Mags, Alice In Chains (RIP Layne Staley), Nirvana.

i've noticed a huge amount of videos being uploaded by the youtube channel "auslannews".

Firstly, it's rude to post off topic. See item 10 of the posting guidelines below.

You're right, pardon my ill manners please.

Secondly, don't you have your own thread, on which people (including myself) have given you responses that you promised to consider and get back to us on??

There's much to chew and digest in that thread. I have to admit, it's a bit overwhelming. I will go back to it in the near future.

Thirdly, the information you have posted provides no "evidence" as to the identity of the Slave. It doesn't even prove that Matt 24:45 is anything more than a parable.

I believe it does because there is no other organization on this planet doing the work that Jehovah's Witnesses do. The Slave has seen fit to bring the good news to those with hearing disabilities by utilizing sign language. It's truly a blessing! Again I apologize as I thought my bringing that out was in harmony with the outline of this thread. If I'm wrong, I apologize sincerely.

What I do not love is the flip-flopping teachings which the FDS tell me are from Jehovah, but are reversed years, months or even just weeks later.

Alright, I'm listening, when has the Watchtower EVER flip flopped? First off, there's no educational organization on this earth that hasn't had to adjust it's understanding from time to time, and the Slave Class isn't infallible. But to say they've flip flopped is nothing more than exaggeration.

Theo Sol is a one hit wonder. We have postedt 3 pages of good stuff and he is gone.

What good stuff? This place is a spirtual wasteland. You know, I found it somewhat intriguing at first. I guess you could say initially shocked at the gaul of you God haters. Like get a load of these disgruntled apostates deluding themselves into thinking they've procured truth outside of the truth. Yeah that's how I felt until it dawned on me that fantasy is all you people have left. I guess that's the results of the internet. Any rookie can go online and "research" whatever they want to create whatever "truth" they like. People on here have downloaded a couple books on Babylon and examined some scratches on rocks and now all of a sudden they're experts on ancient astrology. They think they can descredit the slave class' findings on when Jerusalem really got sacked. Get real. Even beyond what's truth and what's clearly false, the latter of which is prevelant here on Judas' Witnesses.net, it's quite apparent the lack of spiritual food. This message board is like Ethiopia in the 80's, and the Watchtower is a five star buffet in comparison.

This is a community of disgruntled people telling each other what they want to hear. You've all essentially created your own truth, tickling your own ears. It's not enough that live falsely, but you seek to reassure one another's falsehood. Paul's second letter to Timothy couldn't have accurately depicted you folks any more precise.

"4 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage —with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry."

You remind me of the angels condemned to Tartarus, with the only difference being you seek out your own Tartarus here on Judas' Witnesses.net.
